Scarf is in the mail & look what I received!

Hi All! Look at the beautiful scarf I received from Ann in Berkeley CA! I love it! The colors are perfect, reminds me of leaves changing in the fall. And it's Alpaca...very soft.
I also received some yummy chocolates, gummy bears (of which there are a few left), Misty Alpaca Lace yarn in a beautiful green color, some stitch markers, ladybug magnets, a Good Karma pocket stone and some seeds to grow poppy flowers. Thanks Ann for being such a great pal! You totally rock!
My Pal's scarf is headed west as we speak! Thanks for a great Exchange!

Oops, missed the deadline for posting

Must apologise for not posting on the 26th - I have a small excuse, that all that day the power in the house was off and I couldn't leave to get to a computer as I was mostly holding kitchen worktops up while husband attached them to the wall. Fortunately, we are now back to a state where our kitchen is nearly usable, so I will post my pal's parcel out first thing tomorrow morning. Terrible behaviour from a hostess I know, but DIY does tend to send you a little mad, so I could plead temporary insanity!

Yay for scarves and secret pals!!

I am a very lucky girl this weekend, as I received a fabulous package from Marisol at purlsjustwannahavefun. In addition to my gorgeous scarf, she sent me a knitting girl necklace (that's been hijacked by my three year old girl), some candies, and some strawberry body cream. yum! This has been a fantastic exchange once again - thank you Marisol and hostesses!

On its way...

Just under the wire

I got the scarf sent out on Saturday (though I doubt it will get shipped until Tuesday) just in time. I hop my spoilee likes it. It ended up being too heavy for aspring scarf, but I hope she'll enjoy it this winter! I loved the pattern, somethin from Barbara Walker. I'll get pics up soon, I swear!
